The Grammys were last night and my oh my were there a few surprises. Highlights of the show included Katy Perry bringing her grandma to the show, Florence and The Machine, Bob Dylan, Mumford & Sons and Christina Aguilera – who remembered all the lyrics – taking the stage at the Staples Center. There was also Lady Gaga and an alien egg. And singing puppets. Yes, it was a good night.
There were also awards given out and finally artists who deserved the recognition got it. Like Arcade Fire, The Black Keys and La Roux. As for Gaga she went home with three Grammys including Female Pop Vocal Performance for Bad Romance. Oh and Lady Antebellum was the biggest winner of the night with five Grammys, proving that country music is actually successful. While we’re at it, can some one enlighten me as to who the Best New Artist, Esperanza Spalding is? I need to congratulate her, Biebers fans on the other hand? not so much.
