Alpines.

Meet the Alpines. The South London duo made of Catherine Pockson on vocals and Bob Matthews on keyboards make a heady and ethereal mix of synth fuelled electro pop. Think La Roux mixed in with Florence and the Machine and a touch of Zola Jesus thrown in for good measure. They are  impossible not to love. Unless your apathetic or deaf.

The duo happen to be releasing their debut EP ‘Night Drive’ on March 28th. Which cannot come soon enough in my opinion. The EP  features the songs Drive’ and ‘Ice and Arrows’ and remixes of both tracks – which are phenomenal in case you wondering. Now if the EP isn’t exciting enough for you, the duo are currently working with producer Craig Silvey who has worked with the likes of Portishead, Arcade Fire and The Horrors on their debut album, yes album, which will be released later in the year.
